The Adams family is one of the oldest families in Azin. They are loyal to the crown and have been given the obligation of controlling Northwind. Northwind is one of the 5 passes that allow travel through the northern mountains. Who ever controls Northwind controls 1/5 of the trade from the northern coast of the continent to the rest of the continent.
