Chimera
The Chimera is a ferocious, fire-breathing monster with the fore body of a lion, the hindquarters of a goat, and the tail of a dragon. The Chimera has three heads, those of a lion, goat, and dragon. Chimeras are ill-tempered, highly aggressive creatures and bitterly resent competition within its hunting range. It lives a solitary life unless mating. From time to time and for no discernable reason, a Chimera will emerge from the wastelands to wreak havoc wherever it appears.
The Chimera delights in creating chaos and violence for its own purpose, slaughtering entire herds and flocks, decimating entire village populations, leaving naught but charred ruins and corpses in its wake. Such is the unabated fury of the Chimera that rumors and legends tell of demons setting Chimeras upon lands they wish to torment.
