Nancy Lowes ath Terla

Born in the Open City of Terla in TK 1029, her first memory was of watching her mother and older sister being sold into slavery because the merchant they were working for wanted extra coin. When she was 11, she escaped the Open City and traveled to the capital of Terralen. There, while living on the streets, she encountered a knight of the Duchess of Terralen. The knight was so impressed by her spirit and ability to best five of his men-at-arms that he made her an officer. Eight years later, the Duchess of Terralen knighted her. She controls the lands east of the city of Luxor.
