Sand Rays
The Sand Rays are highly intelligence mammals that are the gentle giants of the desert. The Sand Rays are social and gregarious. The Sand Rays run in family groups and the relationships among group members is very close.
An adult Sand Ray can measure up to 9 feet in length (not including its tail) and 5 feet wide. Their hide is thick as armor with a strong armored plate of bone protecting the skull of the Sand Ray. Sand Ray skin is a mixed coloration of light browns to dark browns. This coloration helps to camouflage the Sand Ray when it is on the surface of the sand.
