Steven Puren ath Talis
Steven was born in TK 1032 into a merchant family living in Kenda. He was able to attend the Kendan University of Engineering Studies. He graduated after the old regime was overthrown in Talis. Through heralds and travelers he learned how badly Talis was destroyed during the old regime. He decided that he needed to do something about that. He returned home to Talis after a 15 year absence with his tools and knowledge. He spent his first three years designing and building homes and irrigation systems to help his people. When the new regime heard of his actions on behalf of the people of Talis, he was asked to become the Government's overseer of public works. To this day, he spends most of his time designing or building public work projects to better the living conditions of his people.
