Amethyst Rose

The Amethyst Rose is one of the magical roses of Alquennas and can be found wild in the magical wasteland of Azin, The Mountains of Xendana, the deep forests of Bryagel, and in the Ment Infen-Ta mountain range in Cimmeran. The bushes of the Amethyst Rose can grow up to eight feet in diameter and ten feet in height. The average yield is ten to 15 blossoms four times a year. The cold of the harshest winter does not deter the Amethyst Rose from blooming or thriving. It is the heartiest rose known on Alquennas.
For every blossom on an Amethyst Rose bush, an undead creature cannot travel within 10 feet of the bush. The blossoms have the same effect once they are cut or fall off the stem or bush. This is one of the reasons that, like the lavender rose; they are used in important ceremonies to protect those in power.
1 quantity of blossoms of the Amethyst Rose bush can be used to construct a item of power that will deter undead creatures. Made into a device with Dwarven silver, it will provide protection from undead. An undead creature will need to make a Willpower AR% or Ferocity AR% roll - 50% to get within 10 feet of the device. If they succeed, all of their actions are at a negative modifier of -25%. An undead creature will need to make a Willpower AR% or Ferocity AR% roll - 75% to get within 5 feet of the device. If they succeed, all of their actions are at a negative modifier of -50%.
It is known that Reapers cannot properly function around Amethyst Rose bushes or blossoms. A reaper will stay 10 feet x the number of Amethyst Rose blossoms in an area.
Each petal of an Amethyst Rose blossom can be formed into an arrowhead. This arrowhead does 28 points of damage + Crit Die at short range to Reapers.
1 quantity of Amethyst Rose blossoms counts as four quantities in any magical workings. Additionally each quantity provides three charges to a magical device and a single quantity recharges a 1 charge per day.
1 quantity of Amethyst Rose blossoms can be ground into a powder then, when mixed with purified water, it will create a substance that will detect any known natural or magical poison in liquids. The mixture is known as Jilledren. A drop of Jilledren needs to be added to the suspect liquid. If the liquid turns black and begins to smoke, then the suspect liquid contains poison in it. If the drop turns translucent, then the suspect liquid does not contain poison.
The stems of the Amethyst Rose bush can be used to make shafts for arrows. Arrow shafts comprised of Amethyst Rose stems provide a bonus of 5% to the TSC% of the archer using it. Additionally, undead creatures cannot pick up or use arrows with shafts that are comprised of Amethyst Rose wood.
The chance to find Amethyst roses in a shop is 1% and 5% in the wild. Fresh blossoms are worth 1500 P per blossom; entire bushes for transplanting are worth 15100 P for each. The bushes require a source of magical energy that is hard to duplicate in areas to which they are not native.
