As they were leaving, they began to fire at the buildings of the port city with their weapons. The Military Governor of Lords Duncan Tully, with the assistance of the Duke of Dresden, met the mercenary force on the fields just east of the city of Lords. The commander of the Eighth Morder Free Company agreed to a meeting with Lord Tully & Duke Heinrich. The three met under a banner of truce.The commander of the Free Company stated that if Lords surrendered, their civilian population would be spared to be sold into slavery. The members of the military would be put to death. The commander continued to state that if Lords did not surrender, all who reside within the city would be put to the sword. The Commander added that his company has been well paid and cannot be bought off. The Commander of the Free Company concluded in stating the fact that his troops out numbered them 11 to 1.
The Military Governor of Lords and the Duke of Dresden agreed that they must do what is best for their people. They then informed the commander of the Free Company that the people of Lords would not surrender. Further, they expressed their hopes that the all of the members of the Free Company had made out their last wishes.
As the two sides began to prepare for battle, the sounds of drums pierced the air. The drummers of the advanced guard of the Saurian Dragon Kin 5th scale and 11th Heavy Calvary proudly and loudly announced their approach.

The Military Governess of Moshven announces to the world that docking procedures at the Port of Silk are changing. Due to several accidents in the past two years and other recent factors, these changes are deemed necessary to protect trade to the country of Moshven. The changes are as follows:Every ship that enters and exits the Port of Silk will have a trained Moshven pilot to expedite their transition from Open Ocean to the sheltered harbor as well as to provide a measure of safety. The incoming ships will pay for this service.
Warships may no longer use the ports and docks in the inner harbor. All Warships are to use the piers and docks on the outer harbor ocean wall.
Once inside the harbor, a ship may be moved into position by block and tackle. This is to ensure safety and proper navigation.
Additionally, the Military Governess of Moshven has announced that the people of Moshven are embarking on the largest public works program ever started in Moshven. Every port and harbor that is on the coast of Moshven is being worked on. Every harbor is being turned into a sheltered harbor. The shoals and coastal waterways are also being re-worked to increase trade and to protect the resources and inhabitants of those waterways.

The message is rumored to contain a request for the sharing of information concerning the dark times of the Blood King.

The squadron of Azinian ships sent to engage the four Rogue class ships overtook them and dispatched them. The Rogue class ships were not able to maneuver as well in the canal as in the open ocean and became easy prey for the Azinian ships. It should be noted that the squadron of Azinian ships were from the fleet of the Duchess of Kent.Three Kenda ships discovered an abandoned Specter class ship in the Sea of Kenda. The ship was not named and did not carry any colors. A figure in gray was noticed watching as the laborers opened the Temple of the Blood King. As guards approached the figure, it exploded.

The conjunction that caused the event does cause some astronomers to recheck their figures. Especially since Hyach is seen to return unchanged in his waning aspect after the event.
The Grand Canal Project in Azin has begun with 75 work crews all working at different locations that range from the east coast of Azin to the west coast of Azin.
Reports from Patronna state that Duchess Erica Lament is evacuating all noncombatants due to what she is calling an infestation of an undead army that numbers in the thousands. The forces of undead creatures are closing fast on the human settlements. They have two days at most before the undead are at their gates. She reports that both the Dwarven and Elven settlements are also under siege with undead forces.
The Duchess will attempt to evacuate over 15,000 humans in the next two days.
Reports from Kenda
15 Shield Maidens of Kenda were escorting the Lady of Draconic Splendor to the mid year festival when, while crossing the Dragco plains, they were ambushed. The attackers came from nowhere as the Dragco plains are flat for over 10 miles in every direction. As one of the shield maidens stated, one moment the plains were empty, the next there were 60 Reapers encircling them.
The Shield Maidens informed the Lady of Draconic Splendor that they will open a hole in the Reapers and she is to go through it and not look back. Then the Shield Maidens formed a line stirrup to stirrup. The Reapers sensing the attack formed a wall two rows deep directly in front of the Shield Maidens.
The Shield Maidens began their charge with their battle cry of “FREEDOM” towards the lines of Reapers. As they approached, shadows began to form beneath the Reapers and even with an overcast sky, the shadows were noticeable. As the Shield Maidens got within 30 feet of the Reapers, they were all dispatched as if someone closed a door on their life force. When the Shield Maidens reached the Reapers, they were all dead. Then the sky cleared and as the rays of sunlight highlighted the Dragco Plains, a single loud thunderclap was heard. The Lady of Draconic Splendor reportedly commented “Well, that is something you don’t see everyday.”
The country of Fyngel announces that one of its foresters came upon a herd of buffalo. This is not unusual as buffalos were imported to Fyngel over 60 years ago. However, what is unusual is that there were four white buffalo caves in the herd.

He is unable to decipher them.The country of Gemsten on the continent of Fyngel sends heralds to all of the realms announcing that under the leadership of their Konung, they have captured 15 Reapers. The Reapers are currently penned up.
Ayden of Creal reports that his forces encountered a band of highwaymen that numbered over 200. The highwaymen were defeated. Purple scarves were found on some of the defeated bodies.

The outbreak of Red Fever in the City of Clouds is out of control. The Algo Root that was sent by Azin had little effect. The government of Talis orders the firing of the City of Clouds. It is reported that 40 Rogue class ships were spotted off the south eastern tip of Cimmeran. The Horde dispatched several ships to investigate. The circus of the Traveling 14 Brothers begins their annual touring season in the Dragon Mists province of Kenda in the capital city of Kendal. They will be performing 10 days in Kenda before moving on.The country of Aphane announced that their grain harvest is also greater than expected. The grounds of the Temple of the Blood King are becoming a spectacle. Thousands of people have flocked towards the area to get a glimpse of the artifacts being brought out of the Temple. It is estimated that over 15 thousand Elves, Dwarves, Haeflins, and Humans have set up camp a mere 1000 feet from the temple compound. Many of these people are offering their services in various ways. These range from digging or hauling debris from the site to cooking for the scholars. The sea of tents are slowly being replaced with wooden and stone structures as merchants, crafters, and food venders also setup shop to feed and service the thousands of spectators.The government officials are not sure how to proceed in dealing with the spectators.

The figure in grey began to walk towards the Duke of Kreeden. Almost everyone in the room was powerless to stop the figure in grey. Everyone, that is except the Duke’s guest, Lady Alex of Azin.
One report states that Lady Alex stood up and commanded the figure in grey to stop. When the figure did not heed her command, Lady Alex pinned the figure in grey to a wall using one of the banquet tables. The figure in grey immediately turned to sand.
The unnamed source notes that Lady Alex was on a diplomatic mission for the Crown of Azin.
The government of Katonnan announces that they have begun building a trade road system to link all of the towns of Katonnan together. This project is being assisted by the 3rd and 4th Azin Royal Engineers.

Am, High Shamaness of the Horde declares a 1,000 crown bounty on the head of Gold Beard.The country of Traden reports that a shipment of spices was stolen from a convoy by the Purple Scarf bandits. The entire convoy was destroyed and the only thing that was missing was the containers of spice. The calling card of the bandits was left on the pile of bodies.

The Realm of Sea Fair
From one of the merchant fleets of Sea Fair comes a report of a life and death struggle. The fight was between a Colossal Squid as it engaged in a great battle with a Sperm Whale. This duel of titans took place roughly 500 miles south of Terla. This is the first time that multiple witnesses have seen a Colossal Squid. The victor of the fight is unknown.
Please note that a Colossal Squid is not the same species as a Giant Squid. Nerveless, they are still great monsters of the sea.

The Horde reports that three of their Specter class warships engaged 12 Rogue class ships in battle off of the Kenda coast. When the Horde ships got within 450 feet of the Rogue class ships, they unleashed their newest weapon. Streams of fire erupted from the bows of the three Horde ships and moments late, three of the Rogue Class ships were set ablaze. The Horde commander stated that once the other nine Rogue ships realized the first three were gone, they ran like the cowards they are. The Horde is hailing this as a great victory.The Oracle of Terla sends the Duchess of Kent a message. The Oracle uses Saurian: Dragon Kin as her heralds to deliver this message, Usually the Saurian: Dragon Kin are used as her personal body guards.

The migration of thousands of people to the county of Myra continues as newly discovered minerals and precious metals are found in the area.As dusk took hold on Patronna, a rider from the west breeched the defensive line around the Fortified Settlement of Azin. The rider was carrying a message from William Aday to the Duchess Erica Lament. As the horse entered the fortified settlement, it fell. The horse had given its life so the rider could get through.
The messenger, a young girl, knelt before the Duchess and handed her the sealed message.
The message read:
My beloved lady, forgive me first of all for being so personal in my language towards you in this message. I now entrust to you my sister who carries this message to your arms as I am afraid I will no longer be able to take care of her. She is the best of my family.
As requested I sent the message to our Sovereign Lord. I know he received it.
I am afraid that I have failed you. My men and I can not hold the Public Gate Portal much longer. The best I can do is to try to draw the enemy away from you and then, with the help of Franklin the mage, prevent the enemy from ever using the Gate Portal.
I beg that you live my Duchess. It is my desire that you find happiness in your life.

As Duchess Erica finished reading the message, the dimming light of the day masked her tears. As she turned towards Elizabeth, William’s sister, it seemed as if the entire world became bright from the explosion of the Gate Portal 40 miles to the west of her position.

The Royal Inquisitor of Kenda, James Marshal, has amended his report concerning the death of Robert Flynn. The final report states the cause of death to be murder. The Dukes of Kenda order a full investigation on this matter.The Third set of refugee ships from Patronna arrive in Kenda. The evacuation is being called the miracle of Patronna. Under the direction of Duchess Erica Lament, 30,000 civilians have been evacuated. Among the refugees are 15,000 humans, 10,000 elves, and 5,000 dwarves.

Reapers are discovered in the country of Myra in the county of Kent in the country of Azin.The Island of Mists reports that late on the 251st day of the year, the giant sea turtle returned to the sea leaving behind 3 acres of crushed cane. The path that the turtle took to get back to the sea is easily identified.
Officials of the city of Mamlet (Capital city of Grand Oak) have a suspect in the attack on their city. The suspect is a member of the Purple Scarf Bandits.
The Government of Silver Oak (an Elven Wood in Central Azin) sends back the envoys from Tra-Len with a suggested itinerary for the proposed cultural exchange.
The Government of Carwin announces they have appointed a Lord Mayor of the town that has sprung up near the Temple of the Blood King. The Town is to be called the town of “Sea Side.” The Lord Mayor is a human named John Bedcome. The Lord of the area is also a human. Sir Douglas Cook of Kenda has been appointed. He is a knight (social status of 26) that was the military advisor from Kenda to Carwin during the Fourth War with the Horde. It is hoped that his appointment will continue the good relations between Carwin and Kenda.

Currerria, on the continent of Vitainnia, has discovered a rich vein of silver just outside of their country’s capital city of Patois.

The Pirate known as One Hand attacked a merchant fleet carrying cloth from Terla to Kenda. The merchant fleet was destroyed. Apparently the pirates were not interested in taking the cargo. They were only interested in destroying the ships.The country of Ganit located on the Southern Shield reports that their mages and alchemists believe they have one of the causes for the creation of Zombies that does not include the use of necromantic magick.

Drusilla Drina Dristi, the governess of the 12 score Island Chain, announces that all of the damage that occurred while the islands were under pirate control has finally been repaired. The fields are ready for new seed.Fyngel reports that a nest of Elvbanes were discovered on the outskirts of the great forest. The nest was destroyed. It is the first nest discovered in Fyngel in over 100 years.

The Elven country of Creal announced that their honey harvest is greater than it has been in 40 years. Additionally, their silk harvest is greater than it has been in 15 years.

Ships from Azin and Bryagel comprised the Alliance fleet in this action. The action took place off the northern coast of Bryagel.

Cimmeran reports that they discovered a nest of Reapers three miles from the Capital of Two Worlds. Reports estimate that over 100 Reapers were in the nest dormant. The High Chieftain of the Horde ordered the nest destroyed. The Horde lost 30 Hands destroying the nest.The Kingdom of Tra-len reports that a band of 40 highwaymen attempted to plunder an inn on the road. The highwaymen did not know that a column of Tra-len soldiers were lodged at the inn. The highwaymen were all captured alive. The highwaymen did not have any markings of any type on them.

This time he is trying it outside of the city, just far enough that it will not terrify the people of Kallon.The test was a failure. The machine fell to pieces once it began moving. The horse that was moving the machine panicked and destroyed the remaining structure of the machine.

The cause of death is drowning. Robert Hatch was the master Striker of the Mint of Kenda. What makes this unusual is that his clothing was not wet.

Azatar reports that a band of Haeflins attempted to disrupt the trade meeting it was hosting. The band of Haeflins was arrested as they attempted to gain access to the building that the meeting was being held in. All 45 of the Haeflins have been sentenced to death by hanging.The Isle of Trista announces that it has begun building liquid carrying cargo ships to compete with the other designs being built by other nations.
At the Temple of the Blood King, over 500 scrolls sealed in honey jars have been discovered. They were located underneath what they thought was the burial chamber. The scrolls are being investigated and researched.

Brewers in the Dwarven country of Xendarna have somehow created a new form of ale. It is reported to be extremely – potent. They aren’t quite sure how it happened but they have confirmed that they can reliably reproduce the happy accident. Samples of the ale have been shown to be at least 20% alcohol. The brewers are rumored to be seeking a tasting match against the brewers of the Famous “3 God Beer”.Moshven engineers have completed a dry dock alongside the Port of Silk. This will allow up to four Specter class ships to be worked on at the same time.

Azatar reports that the band of 45 Haeflins was hung as the first lights of dawn showered down on Azatar this morning.The Duke of Dresden reports that a band of 120 highwaymen attempted to steal the spice shipment to Dresden from Katonnan. This attempt was stopped by the Duke’s soldiers.

Istas, on the Southern Shield, reports sighting a fleet of 250 Rogue class ships sailing past their country. This is the largest sighting of Rogue class ships. Still, they do not carry any banner or flag.Sir Vladimir of Gregoria, while touring Kenda with his three squires, came upon a village that a Reaper was attacking. Sir Vladimir charged the Reaper. The Reaper was dispatched. The price was high for Sir Vladimir of Gregoria. His riding horse was killed by the Reaper. He did not have the time to change to his war horse.

Greater Bryagel reports that a pack of six Reapers attacked craftsmen at the Ship Fields of Bryagel. The Reapers were eventually hunted down. The number of casualties was high as 34 craftsmen and 250 Elven soldiers were killed by Reapers.In the port of Xavier, on the continent of Terla three ships were destroyed and several ships were damaged as seven fire ships entered the port.

The Dwarven country of Gemsten is working on perfecting an innovative new wall design for fortified keeps and castles. Very little is known about the design; however, it is said that it can withstand 100 fold more damage than traditional walls of keeps and castles.The Kent Field Cross team defeated the Globe Crushers 33 to 1 at Kent. This was the highest scoring game since the game went professional.

Verdarn, the capital city of the country of Verdar, is rocked by an earthquake. Only minor injuries were reported.The Elder Council of Kisda on the continent of the Northern Shield reports that they have had an increase in Reaper sightings. Their patrols spotted their first Reapers heading towards the capital city of Kisda Plateau. The Ogres and Goblins engaged the Reapers. After a three hour long battle, the six Reapers were killed; however the price they paid for victory was high - 11 Ogres and 308 Goblins were killed stopping the Reapers.

The country of Traden announces that they have signed a new trade and military alliance with the country of Unadrian.The port city of Jaffa-Kar reports that 20 fire ships were launched against their port facilities to no avail. The new defensive measures put into place stopped all of the fire ships.

The country of Unadrian announces that they have signed a new trade and military agreement with Traden. Additionally they state that a cultural exchange will begin on the 400th day of the year between the two countries.The Playwright Robin Thatcher has completed a new play. Stone’s Rising happily reports that another Drake hatched this day. The drake is an Ice Drake. They have named the Ice Drake Cat.The Giant Squid (80th day of the year) has begun laying eggs in its sheltered harbor. The Mere Folks that are her caretakers inform the Realm of Sea Fair that all is normal and that the Giant Squid does not pose any danger to their fleets or citizens.

Rygel ath Azin marries Sheila Dillweed, sister to the famed engineer. Their weeding was held at the Duchy of Kent. The marriage was performed by the Duchess of Kent.Mercenaries of the Seventh Morder Free Company enter the Open City in Terla and begin to set up shop there. They purchase several buildings to act as their Head Quarters.

The city of Dawn on the continent of Mednadda reports they have translated a tablet that dates back to the ancient empire on Terla. It turns out to be a supply list for a construction project.The sixth Morder Free Company enters the Open City in Terla to join up with members of the Seventh Morder Free Company.
The Church has come up with a solution to the Blue Coral Island crisis that all sides can live with. Azatar will assist the local inhabitants of the island build a more modern nation. The Azatar army will withdraw from the Island.

While the Elder Council of Iceda met in Icendale (their capital) a figure in grey walked in on the meeting. Before the figure in grey could do anything, the Elder Council (which is comprised of Ogres) attacked the figure in grey. Only ash and dust remained of the figure in grey.327th day of the year
The government of Iceda reports that someone on the 326th day broke into their archives and stole 50 scrolls. The scrolls ranged in subjects from agriculture to battle magick to a meal recipe for sea slugs. What is clear is that the attack on the 326th day was a diversion for the real crime.The Azatar army begins its withdrawal from the Blue Coral Island. Observers from the other nations of Terla are ensuring that this is occurring.

The Oracle of Terla travels to the capital city of Azin to see High King Rene’ Nari’. The meeting lasts 30 minutes. At its end, the Oracle of Terla leaves for home.The Kite Engineers of Azin and the Sea Elves of Bryagel test their new sail design (98th day of the year) on an Elven Sloop. The design works, works very well in fact. The Box Kite Sail provides greater propulsion than that of the normal sails of the Elven Sloop. It is reasoned that the winds at altitude are stronger than the winds at the surface where the normal sails would contact the wind. The Box Kite Sail is only 200 feet higher than the mast of the ship.
Sir Douglas Ravyn and a force of 1,200 soldiers from Azin and Draconic Splendor assault the island outpost of the Purple Scarf Bandits. The outpost is on Tempen Island that is East of Kenda. Over 800 tons of stolen materials have been reclaimed. The reclaimed items will be sold to fund Sir Douglas’s campaign against the Purple Scarf Bandits.

The Grand Fleets of the Horde set sail from all harbors. The Personal Hand (Guard) of the Horde High Chieftain left the city of Two Worlds via Gate Portal to Kenda. The High Chieftain of the Horde did not travel with them. The Shamaness of the Horde did travel with them. They met with the Lady of Draconic Splendor.

The Grand tournament at Verdar begins. Due to recent events the number of knights in the rolls is only 15.The Military Governess of Moshven places the entire army and navy of Moshven on alert.

The last day of the Grand Tournament at Verdar and the winner of the Grand Tournament is Sir Maximum Carlos of Kenda.The Pirate Gold Beard’s fleet is spotted with two Rogue class ships in it. They are spotted off the southern coast of Kenda. The Kenda navy is occupied elsewhere and could not give chase.
The Order of the Savior deployed the First and Third column of their forces to the wasteland. There they reached the city of Freehold to use their Gate Portal.

Shield Maidens of Kenda report encountering highwaymen trying to attack a caravan. The Shield Maidens stopped the highwaymen. Unfortunately none of the highwaymen survived. Each one was carrying a purple scarf.342nd day of the year

At least one ship from each member of the AON is represented in the fleet. Some of the nations that do not have a large navy have opted to purchase ships for the combined fleet and allow other nations to man them. The fleet is under the command of Admiral Thomas Conner of Azin. The fleet contains 90 ships of different sizes and capabilities.
The three governments that controlled Patronna are conducting an in depth census of the refugees to confirm who has been evacuated and to tally the dead.

The York Knights defeated the Tenda Sands three to one in a regulation game.

It is announced by heralds of Azin and the Horde that the reason why the second force was sent to Patronna was to deactivate a gate portal near the area of Carbides. The Gate Portal was deactivated and moved to the fortified area of Carbides. If the forces that currently control the majority of Patronna were given the chance to use the Gate Portal, the spread of the virus and undead could have been catastrophic for all of the realms of Alquennas.Several countries mostly of the Trista Confederation are outraged that Azin took it upon them to include the Horde in the Patronna mission. Trista believes they are entitled to due compensation for what they are calling treachery against the human race.

A force of 4,000 Scorpionmen landed on the Golden Shore of Kenda and began their march towards Draconic Splendor. Hours after they landed, another force of Scorpionmen using the shining path joined them. The combined force was over 10,000 Scorpionmen and 3,000 Arkons.Lady Tempest, the Lady of the Azin Treasury, sent a message to Trista informing them that there was no treachery from Azin and that they should look inward for treachery against the human race and the rest of the races of Alquennas.

The order came from the country of Azin.The third Horde ocean squadron encountered an unusual type of giant squid while patrolling the area around the River of Flames. This squid was jet black in color and measured over 70 feet in length. The squid was larger than their ships.

Reports from the country of Kavendar on the continent of Terla state that two scores of Reapers began attacking the riverside town of Denash. The town had no defense against the Reapers. As they approached, the Reapers began to fall to their end many of the inhabitants of Denash reported. The Reaper siege lasted less than an hour and in the end all of the Reapers were dead.The Oracle of Terla while walking in her garden had a waking dream. The dream disturbed her greatly.
