Chian Peppers

The Chian Pepper received its name for the similarity in taste to Black Pepper. Chian is much spicier than black, white or yellow peppercorn and it is not a peppercorn Chian is actually a fruit that is grown in the tropical areas of Alquennas. The first encounter with Chian peppers was on the homeland of the Horde in 900 BK when their Chieftain discovered the taste for them. The Chian Peppers were then transplanted to where the Horde controlled land. When the Horde left or was kicked out the Chian Peppers remained. Numerous cooks throughout the realms prize the Chian Peppers for their spiciness and rate a 6 on the spicy scale.
