Devil's Claw

Devil's Claw can and will grow from sub-tundra to temperate climates and is usually found on hills and mountains. This plant will grow up to seven feet tall and will sprawl out to 25 feet in diameter. It receives its names from the sharp curved thorns that it produces on its stalks and branches up to the leave roots. Each thorn does 2 points of piercing damage each. When a victim encounters Devil Claw and is unlucky enough to get entangled they need to roll 3 D10 to see how many thorns have dug into them.
The thorns protect the sap of the plant from being taken. The sap of the Devil's Claw provides 4 NU per quantity ingested.
