Topaz Rose

There are two varieties of Topaz Rose. These are the Blue Topaz Rose and the Orange-Red Topaz Rose. These two varieties are found in the Wasteland of Azin. There is a 12% chance of finding the Blue variety of the Topaz Rose and 5% of finding the Orange-Red variety of the Topaz Rose in the wilds there. It is possible to distinguish the Blue Topaz Rose from the Sapphire Rose by the color and the texture of the petals. A Blue Topaz Rose is a medium to light blue in color and its petals are completely smooth.
There have been no attempts to export either variety of the Topaz Rose plants outside of Azin. High King Rene' Nari' has left the decision and handling of all of the magical Rose plants to the Duchess of Kent. She has examples of both varieties of Topaz Rose Plants in her Great Hall in the Keep of Kent and in her Rose garden, both of which are outside of the wasteland of Azin.
4 petals of a Blue Topaz Rose will act as the spell Calm to the person holding or wearing of the petals with a PSF% of 80%.
8 petals of a Blue Topaz Rose will act as the spell Greater Calm to the holding or a wearing of the petals with a PSF% of 80%.
4 petals mixed with pure water administered to a victim of any natural poison will halve the effects of the poison and stop any further damage.
4 petals of the Red-Orange Rose worn around the next, wrist, and ankles will stop the effects of the bleeding sickness.
6 petals of the Red-Orange Rose worn around the neck will stop the effects of the falling down sickness.
8 petals of the Red-Orange Topaz Rose made into a mixture with Algo Root and Dragon Ale will cure a victim of Crimson Fever.
There is a 10% chance that you will find Blue Topaz Rose petals in a shop in Azin. In the shop, dried Blue Topaz Rose Petals sell for 3 Cr per pound and fresh Blue Topaz petals sell for 6 Cr per pound. Please note that if one uses dried Blue Topaz Rose petals, they will need to double the quantity required.
There is a 5% chance that you will find Orange-Red Topaz Rose petals in a shop in Azin. In the shop, dried Orange-Red Topaz Rose petals sell for 13 Cr per pound and fresh Orange-Red Topaz petals sell for 16 Cr per pound. Please note that if one uses dried Orange-Red Topaz Rose petals, they will need to double the quantity required.
